Besides photography, my other hobby is woodworking. I used to resent the fact that my job often takes me away from home 4 nights a week and I couldn’t do any woodworking. I solved that by taking some little carving projects with me and doing them in my hotel room at night (don’t worry I always leave the room spotless). Here are three of those projects.
They are all hand carved, the bowl from one half of an English wild cherry log, the welsh love spoon from lime wood and the bunch of keys (which are a work in progress) also from lime wood.
