My Grandpa Herb was a wonderful man and a master craftsman in many trades. He taught me how to use many tools and many different techniques involving wood-working and construction. Grandpa Herb was likely the hardest working person I have ever met, and he demanded hard work from those around him. I have inherited many of his old tools, which have been the centerpieces for several photography projects of late, and it makes me smile at his memory and in his honor to try to capture some of the essence of atmosphere and the time of his life.
