The 1910 balloon erecting shed at Farnborough. Drawn at a scale of 1:200 using a Rotring 0.18 pen with an 0.35 for the outline. The compasses worked very well. It is the only detailed architectural drawing among a batch of 22 illustrations in my present commission, all the other drawings are site plans and maps. I never really liked drawing maps in my old job but the author of the book I am collaborating on thinks I did a good job of his other books. Only another seven illustrations to do and then I get back to drawing buildings again.
