Jasper got a summer job working construction. He’s pretty good with the hand tools, despite not having opposable thumbs.
This was an interesting setup and wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. To get the saw in position, I sawed maybe 1/2 through the piece of wood. Then to get he saw to stay in position, I screwed a screw right next to the saw blade to wedge the blade solidly in the saw groove. I had Jasper go "paws up", then gently placed his paw on the saw handle. It held! I put the safety glasses on Jasper and gave him the stay command as I ran to my camera and shot off a few. I got them onto my computer and thought the bench top from my original shoot was too cluttered. So I did the shoot over and Jasper performed like a champ once again. He got both a treat AND play for tolerating me today.
