A Benefit for
Child Rescue
The destination for Child Rescue is 90% reduction of child trafficking & exploitation in the US and Canada by 2020. We have started a drastic plan of action creating large scale concerts, public events and media productions in order to create enough public outrage to effect permanent societal change in our two countries, and we need your help, please join the revolution now.
Our large scale events are intentionally designed to put the jet fuel of exposure and funding into top tier anti-trafficking & exploitation NGO’s and the divisions law enforcement agencies that are fighting this war for our children’s safety from predators.
80% of all concert proceeds will go to Child Rescue. Additionally we will be supporting the Utah Task force which includes Utah Health and Human Rights Project, Salt Lake PD, FBI , State agencies that are already working on the issue.
Child Rescue and Candlelight Serenade are opportunities to shed light on this dark topic and the fact that kids are being trafficked, exploited and prostituted in Utah. We have invited NGO partners to our “Anti-Slavery Exhibit” there at the event and will try to feature a collaborative effort in educating our participants as well as promote all the successful efforts other groups are doing about this terrible issue.
Child Rescue introduces August 21st 2010 the first annual, Candlelight Serenade Acoustic Festival. Candlelight Serenade, featuring some of the top Artists as well as the best local talent, will be held at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. Each Artist will showcase their hit songs in a stripped down acoustic fashion. Candlelight will include back-to-back performances; a sponsor world full of booths/demos/etc., and food vendors of all variety.
ARTISTS: Chris Carraba (Dashboard Confessional), Reliant K, Priscilla Ahn, Steel Train, Vedera, Sherwood, Allie Moss, Everybody Else, Making April and we are currently speaking with other potentials including Third Eye Blind, All American Rejects, Gym Class Heroes, Matt Nathanson, Amos Lee, The Rocket Summer, Guster, Plain White T’s, Jacks Mannequin (Andrew Macmahon), Marc Broussard, Mason Jennings, etc.
Imagine seeing one of your favorite bands performing their hit songs the way they were written (acoustic). Artists will have a chance to get personal with the crowd and explain why/how the songs were written. This rare opportunity can be a chance for you to have a great time and help one of the worthiest causes in this century. We will also be featuring an anti-slavery exhibit at the concert with other NGOs and frontline Task Forces from Utah who are combating this issue.
