ONT GP38-2 no. 1809 sits under the large glass ceiling instalment in the train shed with the Northlander test train, a trip made to asses run times between Cochrane and Toronto for the proposed return of the Northlander service in the coming year. Mayors and officials from North Bay, Timmons, Kapuskasing, and many other towns served by the railway were on board for the run south, boarding the train at their respective towns.
Not since 2012 have blue and yellow geeps been spotted south of North Bay when shithawk McGuinty helped axe the service in the party’s plan to divest the ONR on a large scale. I love a government that sews division and hatred between north and south…country and city folk.
