A shot from the back-catalogue which didn’t make the cut at the time but, in these dark bleak days of mid-winter, I thought worth a run out.
Not the one I had planned but the arrival of an EMU on a Manchester train bowled the intended shot, so I had to swiftly leg it up the platform for this one. Hopefully it’s redeemed in part by the glorious light on the front of a clean loco, along with the multi-coloured containers. The train is the 16.18 Trafford Park – Felixstowe containers (4L96), in the hands of Freightliner Shed 66572, snapped at Goostrey, Cheshire.
