The frame of the gate is made with clear cedar. I’ve laid it out on the bench so I can clamp it. I have two long clamps but they were two inches short. Fortunately the vise and dogs in the workbench worked well.
I’m getting better at planning jobs so they are easier to build. The gate has gone together very quickly. I’m also getting better at minimizing and hiding errors and allowing for adjustments to make fitting easier. It looks perfect doesn’t it?
