A lovely day didn’t start as planned with 6D44 Bescot – Toton engineers being routed via Lea Marston instead of its booked route via Whitacre Junction.
Ironically, DB Cargo 66113 with the 4M07 Felixstowe – Burton-on-Trent (Maurice Hill) modal appeared at Whitacre Junction instead – a working which should have been routed via Lea Marston, but on this occasion wasn’t!
I suppose the appearance of this off-route shed was some form of consolation.
