Our chickens have been living in a coup made out of a couple of old pallets uncomplainingly for nearly two years now. So when a friend offered us this shed we thought it would be a good idea to upgrade their accommodation. I fitted out the inside and moved the automatic door opener onto a hatch I cut in the side and…hey presto!…job done. We plan to keep the feed and grain in bins within the hut. As well, I will put in some higher roosting bars to see if they want to get up high! Initial feedback from them is positive!!
