My Mom, Dad, and Lonnie made this. I used to play under this tree when I was a kid. Now my kids play under the same tree- now our table. My Dad cut the tree, he and Lonnie sawed it, I did a good bit of the planeing, my Mom and Lonnie (Lonnie turned the legs, 5 inch stock, on a lathe) cut and built the table and benches, we hauled it from Minnesota to Mississippi in pieces. Lonnie and his friend Barry assembled the table and benches, and Lonnie and I did the finish. And we all eat at it!
