OK, all the legs in, the feet on the floor, and the tenons wedged. Had some mishaps with the wedges, but nothing unrecoverable. Should be fine. Going to leave it to dry overnight, then I can trim the tops and level the feet. At some point I have to make the planing stop, for which I’ve already chopped the mortise. That came out a bit tilted, but shouldn’t affect it in practice, especially since the very minor tilt is toward the center of the bench. If I ever find a reason to care, I can just enlarge it slightly and straighten things out…just have to make a slightly larger planing stop in that case.
