Happy “Taking Time for Health” Tuesday

Happy

For Tracie (and any of my other "adopted" Health Parnters"):

Eeeek! Thanksgiving week . . . I barely had time for any of this, but I did get it done. Hurray. (Not my favorite photo ever, but I just don’t have time to fine tune this one.)

So . . . what is today’s recipe?

This is a fresh Pineapple/Banana Smoothie.

To make it yourself use:

1 ripe banana
2-3 rings of fresh pineapple
1 cup of non-fat milk
To Taste:
Splenda and a touch of vanilla

To make it as a Yogurt Smoothie, you may replace the milk or mix the milk and yogurt 1:1.

Place all in a blender and swirl to the consistency you like most. (I like mine thick . . . this was delicious!).

By the way, this is very simple to figure out into diabetic exchanges, if that’s what you use.

***************************************************************************

NOTE:
Depending on how many fruit servings you are allowed (especially for diabetics) or you wish to have at your breakfast meal, you can split the smoothie with another person (if this is too much fruit for you) or simply cut back on the pineapple.

This could not be faster or easier! Bon Appetit!
