Four milestones today:
1. Lily has started copying people vocally. She was making spitty raspberries at me in Safeway and she was making "ggggg" sounds at daddy when he was talking to her like a Chewbacca.
2. She drank a whole ounce of milk out of a bottle (new nipple made the difference, I think! Nuk fast-flow laytex nipple for Gerber bottles.)
3. Lily has figured out that if she kicks and kicks in her vibratey chair, it bounces and her hanging animals bounce, too. She seems to really like it.
4. My first weekly mealplan/grocery shop is finished. $130 and all the meals for the week, not including Sunday, which is either a chinese party pack or chinese food (which is frankly three times the cost of a party pack) to watch football with our friends.
The plan is to make meals at home a little more special, save some money, and not be fat hobos who eat out all the time. So far, so good: we’ve both lost weight in the last three weeks!
Not Lily, though. She keeps getting bigger and bigger!
