Ponce Inlet, Florida

As soon as the visitor center opened I rushed in, paid my fee, and quickly made my way to the lighthouse. I was one of the first to the top, but as soon as I started shooting, wave after wave of fat, lumbering people in ill-fitting clothes began climbing the steps, ruining my shot!
Usually, I would politely wait until everyone passed by, but where the hell has that ever gotten me. I began to think, what would some of the big-name photographers do in this situation? Well I knew, because I’ve had the great honor of witnessing a few of these specimens in action!
So I yelled, "Hey, the lighthouse is closed for repairs, didn’t you damn people see the sign?" That got rid of most of them, but there were a few stubborn ones who weren’t listening to me. Time for Plan B. As loud as I could, I repeatedly yelled, "FIRE!!!!" I’ve never seen people run so fast! Now, I could continue shooting uninterrupted.
With my newly adopted philosophy of "anything for the shot", I believe I’ll soon be rich and famous just like certain photographers who feel that rude, obnoxious behavior while shooting is perfectly acceptable. I guess they’re right, because some of them have millions of fans.
Have a Nice Day! 😉
